Good to see you turning to the dark side of 48th Alex, that is looking really good and im pleased you are not going with a grey scheme as it will make your model stand out from the crowd. keep going and i look forward to seeing more , have fun wayne

PS i'm very biased to 48th as i cant build in 35th ,it never works for me

Thanks to you all! Wow... That is really kind! Very Happy
Felix, I used the AK Dunkelgelb modulation set! Smile It works fine, with a good dilution! Smile
Wayne, I'm starting to like 1:48 as well, just a great scale ! Smile
I also think it's quite bright, I wanted high contrasts, for a deep toning down with filters and further weathering.
I've added more modulation on some panels (as advised by some friends). Smile
    Pictures soon!

Again, thank you for your support, it really gives me strength and courage to keep going!

    Hi there Alex,

I think the CM is very bright but this will be a good base to start the weathering.

The CM technique itself is performed very well, my compliments. It's something I'm a bit scared to do, I stick with my old Verlinden style airbrushing (pre- and postshading)...

    greetings, Richard.

yes great work Alex ! has the correct base tones for the coming steps.
I agree with Richard - I cant bring my technique to this level of contrast - stick to shading and highlighting as he points out. I only managed it one time on Panzer IV build - but never really went back.
No critique though it looks perfect - and a lot of fun

Very impressive on the CM Alex. But I have to agree with other comments, the highlight look very bright. Maybe after filter and or washing it will tone down.

    Alex,
Looking perfect to me. Brightness : It's all depending on your style, personality, and goal. And i keep in mind that it's not a 35, but 48 scale.
Besides, DAK is not really an easy subject... The light level is high.
    Great work mate !!!
    I'm staying tuned.
