Sd. Kfz. 234/3 with 2cm Schwebelafette

Hello guys,

It has been a while since I've posted something on this forum. So I want to show you my latest project. It is a 8-rad. To be more precise: the Sd. Kfz. 234/3 with 2cm Schwebelafette. It is the Cyber Hobby kit. I have to say that the quality of the kit not exactly is what I expected from Cyber Hobby . There are a lot of sinkmarks and ejectorpinmarks on the parts. But if you make the comparisan with an old Italeri or Revell kit, it is a real beauty ! I did not use any aftermarket sets, except a barrel for the Schwebelafette from RB Model. I also have two figures which I will place on the vehicle maybe. But that depends on how well they fit on it.
I've painted the interior with Vallejo and I've wheatered it with oil paint.

Hi there Maarten,

Good to see you here too! I was hoping you'ld be a bit further than this with the Schwebe, because what you've shown so far is very promising. I have to say I think you've been a little too enthousiastic with the spunge on the interior. But since it gets almost totally covered it doesn't really matter. But it still remains a point of attention for the next time.

@Richard, the chipping on the interior is indeed a bit overdone! But as you say, the interior gets almost totally covered, so I'm content with it.

Hello everyone,

Meanwhile this is one is finished, but I forgot to post the photos here. So I'm doing that now .

I've used Tamiya paints for the basecolour and the camo. I've done the chipping with Vallejo acrylics and the filters, washes and other wheatering has been done with oil colour and AK Interactive paints.

































































It was nice to do this project.

Nice 234 . It's good you posted these extra pics here. The ones on Twenot are too dark in my opinion, I coudn't really tell if I liked this verhicle or not (but I do ).
