Thanks Again guys.Here's a little update the underside is ready for the pigments and plaster. I used XF-72 to lighten the tone.

I'm finding difficult to find pictures of the Centauro in mud so I have to use other vehicles to inspire the finish. This one is one of my favorites.

Thanks Mark I'm modeling a Czech t72 with the funny 3 tone camo.

Heavy mud is laid in over the light toned artist texture.


A lighter tone is then added to the top flat surfaces this will dry light.


After that dark pigments and enamels are laid down, followed by wet effects.

Next I work on the wheels for this I add plaster and real dirt to the mix.

Chris, if you were in Spain you could present this Centauro to the "Premios Ejercito 2013", the prizes in the Master class for models is 3000€ for 1st in dioramas, and 2000€ for 1st in either models or figures.
