Looking good Alex , the hardest thing with 48th is that all the effects need to be much more subtle than 35th and so far you are achieving that very well. When you come to the dirt/dust part ,just go slow and build it up as it is very easy to over do it in 48th ,i know i stuffed up one or two from over weathering.Liking what im seeing keep us posted and have fun Wayne

    Thank you guys!
The oils are now slowly drying, just for fading. More updates soon!
    Thank you all!
I still don't know if it's a DAK vehicle, for the markings don't fit (should be on the Eastern front). If I really wanted it to look on the east, I should have added a green camo, but... my skills aren't good enough to try that! Sad
I'll train on another piece of old wreck in my boxes! Smile
Thank you for following this, guys! It really helps me moving on!
    Alex!

I usually buy an accelerant for oils, it's a deep blue liquid that accelerates drying time a lot. I sprayed it once over already applied oils without the accelerant and it worked too.

Nice one. Good C!, a bit odd for a eastfront verhicle but ok, if you not ready for the camo then you just concentrate on the weathering Wink

I would suggest to work a lot with raw umber oils for that raw eastfront look!

    Keep m comming mate!

    Hi Elco!
    Thanks, mate!
I will do this! Raw umber seems great for that type of climate, I think!

Mine is TITAN, wich is easy to find in Spain, but there are many others (Talens, etc... You can find them in art supply stores). There are solvents with the accelerator added and also the raw product, which is a cobalt based blue liquid.
