Italian M47 Patton - Divisione Corazzata Ariete

Hi at all, my name is Roberto Rusconi from Italy. this is my Italian M47 Patton of "Ariete (Rams) Armoured Division" . The kit is the old Italeri with a number of changes to become Italian M47. Happy modelling and i hope you like it. Any comments?

Great tank. I like the weathering.

Great dusty look....very close to the real thing of tanks in maniouvers. Spain used the same tank, and photos showing it in maniouvers looks the same than yours!

Hello Miguel, surely you do not remember me, I am a friend of Stefano De Paolis and we met in Torrent the last time we came to Spain. Thank you for the compliments, the M47 is an icon for many European armored troops. I remember when I went to see him pull in the military parade of 2 June for the celebration of the Italian Republic. Beautiful!

Very nice indeed. Love the weathering on this one. Will have to look for one of these kits for the group build on my forum. The dirty lower hull is exactly the way I remember these tanks and the M48 M60's
