SdKfz 251/1 scale 1/48 winter camo, Jeep update 02.08

The SdKfz 251/1 is finished. Next step will be the Scwimmwagen and I´ve ordered a Panther G with a update set for the "Ersatz M-10".

The Panther arrived, But I´ll never understand why Tamiya made the hull from metal.

I worked on the tracks of the Panther, much sinkmarks to fill, but after it was completed it´s looking good.
And I started painting the Schwimmwagen.

for the HS techinque, what tools do you use to scrape the paint off ? Greatwork Tobias well done !

on the back of the seats and the floor did you use the salt technique to do the chips ? Great work .... once again ... :p take care

Hi Pierre, I can later make some pictures of my brushes used for the hs technique. For the seats and the floor I used a sponge and Vallejo paint dark sand and old wood.

Some great effects on the kubel my friend--
spatter on the windscreen pretty well done--
I would suggest you add some grime to the floor &
check over the rear & engine cover--some mud looks
just a bit overscale there

You´re right Adam, I reworked the big mud there, it looks better now.
I also have ordered Tamiyas Jeep with G.I´s for the Dio. They will be the fake G.I´s form Comando "Greif".

Upadte on the figures.

Tobias....just a small advice: please, try to remove and do again the mud splashes in the windshield. Seems too thick to me, and I think you can make them smaller controling the radio dolution of the mud (+ thinner in the mud, = more thin dots!)

Nice work all around Tobias, but I too would suggest you to redo the mud effect.
Try to be more subtile and to vary colors and texture.
Cool work so far.
